These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the howtogetyourkidstogotobed.com website, the HowToGetYourFamily series of books, and related products and services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Focus On It, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
Focus On It, LLC is a Maine limited liability company that publishes the HowToGetYourFamily series of books, including How To Get Your Kids To Go To Bed. We can be reached at support@focusonitnow.com or at the mailing address at the bottom of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase products or create an account with us. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Products and Pricing
We sell digital books (ebooks) and physical books (paperbacks) through the Service. Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.
We reserve the right to change prices, products, or offerings at any time. Once you have completed a purchase, your price is locked in for that transaction.
4. Orders and Payment
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. If we decline, you will not be charged, or any charge will be refunded.
Payment is processed at checkout by our payment provider. By providing payment information, you authorize us (through our provider) to charge the amount due.
5. Digital Product Delivery
Digital books are delivered via email and/or direct download immediately after purchase. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for ensuring that our delivery emails are not blocked by your spam filters.
If you do not receive your digital book within a reasonable time after purchase, please check your spam folder and then contact us at support@focusonitnow.com.
6. Physical Product Delivery
Paperback books ship via U.S. Postal Service or comparable carrier to addresses within the United States. We offer free standard shipping on paperback orders within the U.S. Delivery times vary but typically fall within 7–14 business days of order placement, subject to carrier performance.
We do not currently ship paperbacks internationally through direct sale. International readers can access paperbacks via authorized retailers (including Barnes & Noble and IngramSpark distribution partners).
Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession of the package.

8. License to Use Our Content
When you purchase a book from us, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the book for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
• Reproduce, copy, or distribute the book or any substantial portion of it to others
• Resell, rent, or sublicense the book
• Upload the book to any website, file-sharing service, or public location
• Remove or alter copyright or attribution notices
• Use the content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems without our written permission
All content in our books — including text, images, design, and structure — is the intellectual property of Focus On It, LLC and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
9. User Conduct
When using the Service, you agree not to:
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or defraud any person
• Use automated means to scrape or copy content

The Service and all products are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that any particular advice in our books will produce a particular result for your family. Every child is different. Every household is different. Our books offer strategies, perspectives, and guidance based on research and personal experience — they are not medical, psychological, or professional advice.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Focus On It, LLC, its members, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Focus On It, LLC from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the Effective Date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email to our list or via a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maine, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
